The spellbinding Isaiah J. Thompson returns to @exuberance—and he’s bringing company.
Vocalist Olivia Chindamo, daughter of Australian jazz pianist and composer Joe Chindamo, was named Young Australian Jazz Artist of the Year for her 2016 album Keep An Eye On Spring. Now in New York, this 25 year old soprano made finalist in last year's Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition. YouTube offers ample evidence of her abilities with electrifying uptempo scatting and with haunting ballads—an arresting voice with inspired improvising skills and emotional range.

Saxophonist and composer Evan Harris is another Australian phenom now making his name in New York. Designated "most distinguished graduate" from the University of Sydney in 2016, he earned his Masters from Juilliard in 2018, winning the Schuman Prize for outstanding achievement and leadership. Following release of his debut album Skylines, Evan was named 2018 Young Australian Jazz Artist of the Year. He has peformed with Miguel Zenon, Wynton Marsalis, Bill Charlap, Etienne Charles and Vince Giordano, and leads his own eponymous quintet.
Philip Norris is completing his degree in Jazz Studies at The Juilliard School. Meanwhile, he is playing with the likes of Wynton Marsalis, Ulysses Owens Jr., Harold Mabern, Joe Farnsworth, Eric Alexander, Jeff Hamilton, Helen Sung, Catherine Russell, Kenny Washington, Elio Vilafranca, Igor Butman and many more.
