After a wine and cheese reception, Guitarist Pat Martino and his trio will headline an evening that will also feature pianist Uri Caine’s Trio. Between the two concerts is "Jazz Talk," special panel sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania that will focus on the neuroscience of music and improvisation, and explore the brain adapts to different neurological stimulus in the pursuit of the highest form of expression and creativity.
