Dave Kaczorowski and Adrian Valosin formed a strong musical bond as the rhythm section in various bands over the last few years, most notably with trumpet legend Herb Robertson. With Herb, saxophonist Dan Peterson and pianist Matt Mitchell, Augmented Fourthtet performs compositions by the band's members and post-Coltrane masters such as Albert Ayler,Frank Lowe, Henry Threadgill, and Andrew Hill while maintaining an open musical dialog.
