MilkBoy is a bar and music venue located in Center City Philadelphia. It is the brainchild of music industry veterans Tommy Joyner and Jamie Lokoff (MilkBoy Recording Studio) and food and bev veteran Bill Hanson (Continental, Budokan, Alma de Cuba, JG Domestic).

The complete history of MilkBoy begins in 1994, when MilkBoy opened as a music recording studio above a music store in north Philly. It was here that we established our ethic of treating our customers like friends and delivering service with personality, care and gratitude. We always took pride in exceeding our client’s expectations. In 2005, we expanded our footprint in Philadelphia’s music scene and opened our first music venue as an all-ages coffee shop, MilkBoy Coffee, on the corner of Lancaster Ave and Cricket Ave in Ardmore. The cafe has become a place for our community to gather and enjoy great coffee, food, and music.
