About

To mark the culmination of the City's month-long jazz celebration, the Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy will host a free lunchtime concert (noon - 1pm) in the City Hall Courtyard featuring the world premiere of the brand new Jazz Orchestra of Philadelphia. Under the direction of Terell Stafford, renowned jazz trumpet player and current Director of Jazz Studies at Temple University, the Jazz Orchestra of Philadelphia is the latest sign that our city's jazz legacy is as vibrant now as it ever has been.
