consolidating its operations into the further south of the two off-South shops, the Record Exchange's genre-mashing and piles of vinyl have grown to epic proportions.
Remember all those stereotypes you saw onscreen, and giggled at in “High Fidelity”? They live. The Record Exchange staff can be remarkably knowledgeable and helpful--and infamously surly if the platter you pull from their stacks isn't to their liking. But if what you've picked floats their boat, expect some conversation and the ever-popular “record store one up” game. If you have the chance, it might be best to brush up on the history of your selection, pre-shopping trip.
